My practice investigates the tension between an indifferent exterior and emotional presence.
I create painting-objects that concentrate color as a material form of emotion. Pigment becomes movement temporarily fixed in matter.
The velvety, often unprotected surfaces emphasize vulnerability and risk. Material fragility reflects emotional exposure — not as weakness, but as a deliberate strategy.
Working within conditions of uncertainty, I do not attempt to resolve instability.
Instead, my works function as orientational anchors.
They offer a sense of safety despite the unpredictability of their surroundings.
Safety does not emerge from durability, but from the intensity of presence.
